Broken Arm?

***Update...later on that evening, the doctor called and there was a buckle (torus) fracture in her elbow. Fortunately, she can just keep the splint and sling. No cast required. ****

After a treacherous sounding fall down the stairs this morning and Maya being very cautious with her left arm, we made our first trip to the ER with her. She was barely moving it and kept crying that her elbow hurt. We called the pediatrician and he suggested we take her to the ER just to be safe and we agreed. They don't think it is broken, but they splinted it and she has a sling just in case. She has to wear it for 24-48 hours or until she begs for it to be off. She complains that she can't do anything, but I got a picture of her doing a puzzle just fine! She was so brave today and thought getting x-rays were cool!
